Built for Real Practice. Not Just the Course.

Par Save started with a simple problem: practice gear that doesn’t fit real life doesn’t get used.

The Nap Time Realization

We’ve been playing disc golf for over 15 years, and like many players, we’ve spent countless hours trying to improve our putting and short game. But in the spring of 2021, when we welcomed a new member into our family, something became clear very quickly — the sound of chains crashing on a traditional practice basket doesn’t mix well with nap time.
That frustration sparked an idea. If we couldn’t practice quietly at home, how many other players were skipping reps for the same reason?

Designing a Better Way to Practice

Practice Frequency

Will this help players practice more often?

Realistic Feel

Does it feel realistic enough to build confidence?

Proven Durability

Will it hold up to repeated use?

Real Solutions

Does it solve a real problem players actually have?

Designing a Better Way to Practice

Instead of accepting the limitation, we treated it like an engineering problem. We started experimenting with different entrapment systems: cords, materials, spacing, and layouts. Testing and refining each version until we found a solution that delivered two things players care about most: quiet performance and realistic catching behavior.

The Silent Basket

The result was our Silent Basket, a practice basket designed to let players train more often, without disturbing family, neighbors, or indoor spaces. Along the way, we focused on durability, consistency, and forgiveness, especially on weak-side catches, so practice still feels meaningful and transferable to the course.

Our gear is built for players who:

  • Want to improve without needing a course nearby
  • Practice at home, indoors, or in limited space
  • Care about repetition, consistency, and real improvement
  • Value thoughtful design over flashy marketing
